Globby
Terms of Use
Effective 3 September 2026
Short version: play fair, be decent to other players, and know how the subscription works. The details follow.
1. The agreement
By installing or using Globby you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which governs your licence to the app. Where the two conflict about the app itself, Apple's EULA wins; where they conflict about Globby Pro, gameplay, or accounts, these terms win. Globby is provided by Oleh Boichuk ("we").
2. Your account
Globby creates an account for you automatically, identified by a random player ID stored in your iCloud Keychain. You do not need to register. You are responsible for what happens under your account on your devices. You can delete the account at any time from Settings; see deleting your account.
3. Globby Pro subscription
What it is. Globby Pro is an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks unlimited lives, every globe style and plane, streak saves, the full Mastery Map comparison, and removes ads.
Plans and price. Yearly or monthly. The price is shown in the app and on the App Store in your local currency before you subscribe. A free trial may be offered on the yearly plan; its length is shown at the time of purchase.
Renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of a free trial. The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
Cancelling. Manage or cancel in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or in the App Store app. Deleting Globby does not cancel the subscription. Cancelling a trial before it ends means you pay nothing.
Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple. Refund requests go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Restoring. If Pro does not show on a device signed in to the same Apple ID, tap Restore purchases in Settings.
4. Lives and ads
Duels use lives, which refill over time. Players without Globby Pro can watch an ad for an extra life. Ads are supplied by third parties and may change or be unavailable.
5. Fair play
Do not cheat, use automation, exploit bugs, manipulate matchmaking or leaderboards, or interfere with other players' games. Our servers verify every answer and score; rounds that fail verification do not count, and accounts that repeatedly break these rules can be excluded from leaderboards or banned.
6. Names and avatars
Your display name and avatar are visible to other players. Do not use names that impersonate others or that are offensive, hateful, or sexual. We may change or reset a name that breaks this rule, and players can report it in the app.
7. Content and maps
The globe, question data, artwork, and code are ours or used under licence (credits are listed in the app). Map boundaries and names are shown for gameplay and do not express any opinion about the legal status of any country, territory, or boundary.
8. Availability
Online features (duels, leaderboards, the Daily Challenge) need a connection to our servers. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may take the service down for maintenance. Solo play works offline.
9. No warranty and limitation of liability
Globby is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about accuracy, availability, or fitness for a purpose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Globby and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows the current version; significant changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use Globby after a change means you accept it.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without affecting mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in.
